Hi all,

new forum member and soon to be proud owner of 2006 pepper white Cooper S- totally new to the whole mini thing but so excited!!!

not fully up to speed on my mini-speak but as i understand it all, it has the chili pack, limited slip diff, cockpit chrono package and anthracite interior trim. Its pepper white with black roof & mirror caps and white on black checkered roof decal.

pick it up after weekend - i honestly cant wait!!

Sounds like a great specced S and the chrono package for the dials is pretty rare too!

yeah the chrono package doesnt appear to be everyone's cup of tea but i kinda like it - dare i say it...but... i'm not that keen on the big central speedo anyway..... thats it, i'm probably going to be booted out of the mini-world now!

Have to say i like the MIcky Mouse ears look of my dials, as I have the SatNav. I get the speedo and rev counter upfront too.

Pretty much in the same position as me then buddy!

Picking my white MCS up tomorrow with also the chrono/chilli pack with the black roof&mirrors. Woooop! Mines a 2005 with 26k miles bought for £13.5 from the dealer. How much did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking?

mickey mouse ears- i like it

freedo - traded in my old car so its probably not that clear cut but over £14k anyway.... the most i have ever spent on a car so it better be worth it!

That indicates a very high residual value for the previous owner, doesn't it! My dealer told me that I could expect about 75% trade-in value after 3 years (from new), good, eh?

Superb choice of MINI minikin

Not too keen on the Chrono Pack myself, but I would appreciate the added security of oil pressure and temperature guages. I think you'll be shocked when you find just how much more slowly the oil heats up compared to the coolant temperature!

Pepper White is a superb colour for a MINI; I'm looking forward to seeing some full size pictures

billy i'm sure you're right - i had no idea about the resale values until we started looking and i'm sure you'll be really happy with what you get back whenever (if) you sell on
