Hi all

Long time no post.

We are taking our Mini away to Europe soon and due to a possible overlap with when the service is due and what the mileage will be when we get back I have contacted Mini Customer Services to query whether they would cover a service on the car now even though we still have 3000 miles to go before it is due. They said no to this but instead said that if we get the car serviced by a Mini dealer in Europe then they will refund the cost of the service if I send them the receipt.

I thought this was a good result and thought I'd share it in case it helps others

Looks like the first stamp will be Venice Mini

How cool is that gonna look on the service book! It is true about the servicing- it has to be within 1000 mile either way. Have a good trip!
