My New Car !!!!! :):)

Hi folks!

Well the cars now almost a month old and I am loving it!

My previous car was an 06 1.4 polo 75bhp and as I’m sure you can agree the transition iv made to the mcs is an immense one in all aspects but most noticeably the increase in power.

When ordering the car in the latter stages of 07' I spent many nights thinking if it was the right move or should i go for a GTI? I was never content with my spec either. From the original order I since added a sunroof, Bluetooth/usb, sound upgrade (which imo is great) and aero kit in numerous conversations with the dealership. Nonetheless im delighted with the car and spec I have chosen!

The dealers were great and were very helpful. They offered me a cracking deal with over a grand off list. Nothing ever seemed too much either. So I would be extremely happy in ordering another car from there in the future.

As mentioned above I love the car in almost every aspect, however I have a few concerns with it. Firstly I'm not blown away by this run flat technology lark and am thinking of changing over to standard performance tyres (currently have 17" flame spokes). Secondly I find that unless the aircon is on full during wet weather the car mists up very quickly and thirdly im still unsure of the start/stop feature but appreciate its the future and am pleased to do my bit for the environment haha.

As far as the modding is concerned I am aware that alot of you folk love modding but I think that ill be leaving it alone! the only mods I have done are putting clear bulbs in the front signal lights to get rid of that orange tinge and am contemplating get the windows tinted as I didn’t get the factory fit option.

Please enjoy the attached photos and until the next time take care!

Lovely looking S - congrats

Ditching the run flats is a personal thing - just check with your insurance co 1st as there can be issues there.

Really nice motor you've got yourself ~ picked up my new mini on Friday. It was one of the showroom models and as such wasn't specced by me, but am happy enough. Looking at your interior, I wish mine had the MFSW coz I think that looks lush and I would have loved to have the Bluetooth function (ah well, maybe next time).

yes i will before i make a change! thanks for your advice. is it likely to make the ride smoother and softer yet keep the handling the same? and also do all four tyres need to be changed i.e. if i happen to have one blow out then could i change just that indivudal one for a non run flat or do they all have to be the same?

thanks in advance
