New member : Hi from Northern California

Hey everyone, I've been hearing am lot about this forum and finally got a chance to pop over and join. Looks like a lot of great info and good people here. I don't own a MINI as of yet, but I'm tempted from time to time to trade-in my gas-guzzling Chevy Silverado for a mileage friendly MINI.

I'm pretty much a long-time car nut, have owned everything from 50's Chevy Coupes andTri-five Chevy Trucks to '68/'69 Dodge Chargers, '69-'72 Datsuns, '65 & '67 Mustangs, a '67 GTO, etc... I don't own them all now (wish I did!!) but still have the GTO and a '56 Chevy Stepside pickup.
