Offline | Buy from one and take back to another?? Hi all, just a quick question.. If I purchase a vehicle from Stratsmore 90 miles away. Could I take it to Sytners 1 mile away for servicing and warranty (in the event that the gears were sticking, engine cease to work etc)? ![]() One Confused MINIMEMINIME |

Offline | It shouldnt make any difference where you bought the car If you were on holiday with the car you would take it to the dealer local to where you are at the time etc.I bought my MINIs from a dealer 12 miles away, the closest dealer is 3 miles away so I could go there, the only reason I go back to the same one is because you build up some sort of relationship with them, you know how they work, you get to know the staff etc. |

Offline | Re: buy from one and take back to another I bought my Cooper S from Sytner in Solihull, West Midlands via Sytner in Canary Wharf. If you find a MINI via MINI Cherished or through the same group they will get it to you if you are serious about buying, no need for you to travel. Any MINI dealer will work on your MINI whether in or out of warranty; makes no difference to them. Although Sytner waive a pick-up/delivery charge for customers who only bought from Canary Wharf - which is handy as it saves me £18 a day in parking near my office plus the £50 for pick-up and delivery when I get the car serviced. |

Offline | I bought my Dooper about 8 months ago, and for many reasons (warranty work and extras fitted) it has been to the dealers about 10 times. However, it has never been back to where I bought it from! Once I had bought my car and discovered the joys of MINI2, threads led me to Woodmans in Blackpool. After utilising their high levels of service, I won't be going anywhere else despite a 100 mile round trip .As the others have said above, take your car to wherever suits you ![]() |
