Pepper white is such a beautiful colour but it will be fun to keep clean! If you haven't got one already I would suggest buying a clay bar gets rid of the little dots of dirt that don't shift with normal cleaning! Just ask if you need help! I've got a bit of a MINI cleaning obsession now.

Cute names!

Enthusiast Surface Preparation Quik Clay Detailing System

This is the one most of us have I would have thought. Its similar to plastersine/blutack in consistancy when warm and can be used in small broken off bits. You lubricate the surface with the spray provided or during your normal car shampoo and gently rub the clay over the paintwork. The clay had slight abrasive properties and will lift the built on contaminants like tar, tree sap etc. Its brilliant and once you start doing it you can't stop. I will not wax if I have any little dots anywhere as the wax seals these contaminants in. if you have a second hand car I suggest claying as soon as possible as most owners would have waxed over contaminants (takes a bit more elbow grease to get these off but still works). These surface contaminants take away from your car's paint shine so it will improve the look and allow it to shine more. Be careful you always need a layer of lubrication between your paintwork and the clay or it will mark your paintwork. Also always seal the paintwork with a layer of wax after claying as clay takes off all layers of wax and protection.

Honestly it will be hard work but will be worth it!

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

you learn something new every day!
been cleaning cars since I was 11 and my car is pristine (bar the tiny little dots that bug the ***t out of me), so once it is back from service with its freshly painted bonnet and front bumper it will be clayed! can't wait to see it gleaming white again!
can you use the clay on alloys, bonnet stripes or glass?

yep! Can use it anywhere. Just be careful on the edges of the stripes etc. I normally use my older bits of clay bar on the wheels. The clay can get full of junk so you've got to keep folding it like blutack. But if it gets too full and dirty looking I step it down to the wheels.
