United-Kingdom Will cost of used MINIs reduce this year??

I'm searching for a used MINI, have been for nearly a year, but my budget has had to change a couple of times during then. It went from £11000 to my new budget of £8500 max!!

Although I know you can get a good deal out there for that price I'd like to know if anyone thinks the price of used cherished MINIS may come down a bit this year?

I guess with the 2nd gen Mini's on the market, the value of the 1st gen Mini's will (usually) be less than they would have been had there not been a 2nd Gen Mini.

Also, compared to last year, cars are now a year older (stating obvious), so there are some older cars out there that will be cheaper, by virtue of age.

The reason I have posed this question is because last July I very nearly bought a Cooper but due to a **** up with HR Owen MINI Chishick I was unable to buy. The car in question was a Cooper, 54 plate, 45,000 miles, metallic paint and chilli and visibility pack (TLC had just run out)......... costing £9990.

Now nearly 12 months on I see similar cars for sale on cherished sites for exactly the same price or more!!!! Are they ever going to depreciate?
