Offline | Go for it! BRG is such a classic colour that there will always be someone who likes it - just as you do. You have to choose a colour that you will enjoy driving without worrying about what the next owner might be looking for. I think the tan interior is just fabulous and oozes class! |

Offline | Hi.. BRG is quite simply the best colour for any Mini.. I may be a little biased.. ![]() It's a fantastic "classic" colour for "British" sports cars and personally on the Mini I feel only solid Black could compete, so I have the roof..... ![]() Dark Silver......is popular but waaaaaaaay too common - who cares about what "dealers" say re colour and resale value. It's a crock........a BRG Mini in immaculate condition will sell for better money than a DS that has been treated poorly - condition/history etc will always be more important to people who actually know and care about cars. Anyway.........BRG looks amazing especially when it's freshly detailed and waxed - here's my baby last night (quick camera phone pic). I've just had her paintwork lovingly attended to by Nathan Willits from cambridgeautogleam.com I haven't introduced my S to the site properly yet but will do in the next few days when I've managed to get some sunny and interior/engine bay shots - and maybe added another coat of wax to make the flake pop right out of that glorious BRG.. Cheers, Geoff. |

Offline | BRG rocks OK.......had to be the first colour choice in my book and it looks brill with the white roof. I agree with other posts,if you (and we ) like it ,someone else will like it enough to buy it when you sell it on. |

Online | Its rare, but clearly has a loyal following! Personally I like it very much, especially because MINI has a lot of Blue colors, red white silver and black are also very popular and not very individual. Looks best offset with a white roof, IMHO! |

Offline | Thanks.. I've just finally had the time to "remove" the original owner from the car and get her into my "state of ownership" so to speak over the last few weeks having been delayed by other commitments etc. I will do a full introduction post in the next week or two once I finish all my detailing jobs and get a bunch of good pics together - she really is lovely........pretty much every option and you could now eat off the engine or wheel- arches ![]() Cheers, Geoff. |

Offline | Not my first choice, or I would have bought one! Saw a lovely example the other day though - BRG with White roof - looked really good . Doesn't appear to be a very popular colour, just going by the colours I see on the road ![]() |

Offline | I have to say it's not my favourite colour - but then I work in London and I'm fed up of seeing Foxton's Minis everywhere. That said, a clean one with some nice Chrome detailing as pictured above does look excellent. My choice came down to what would look good with a Union Jack on the roof. |

Offline | I'll post a photo of my BRG/BLK after I take delivery on Monday. ![]() Color is such a personal thing. Choose what you like and really enjoy - don't worry about the next person. I loved my Indi Blue and still have incredibly nostalgic memories (sounds silly perhaps), then I bought the PW/BLK and honestly I did that to save the $ on the non metallic paint. I should never have done that - I'm not that poor and although I do like the classic look of it - it was never "me". This Clubman I'm picking up on Monday is a color combo that caught my eye a few years ago when a BRG/BLK MCS zipped up behind me on the highway and I thought - "Now that is a beauty." Everyone that knows me was sure I'd choose Lightening Blue this time around - and I almost did but then that British Racing Green's siren song called me. ![]() Sony - do let us know what you decide, OK? First love: MC CVT Indi Blue/White '04 Past MINI: MC CVT PW/Black '06 Present MINI: MCCa Pure Silver/BLK '09 w/roof rails |

| Life after MINI | I love BRG on the hatchback MINI (I owned a BRG classic Mini years ago, and it was magic), and if you want to buy the hatchback, no hesitation - do it ! There is one that parks across the road from my office, and it looks fantastic. But I have to say I don't like it on the Cabriolet .... it's the green hood that really looks out of place .... If you could get it with a black hood instead, that would be fine. |

Offline | I love BRG - always have Mini or not. Maybe it's something to do with the racing heritage. I just han't realised until now that it wasn't as popular as some of the other colours. Won't stop me from choosing BRG when it comes to the next Mini though. Mini: Drive and feel alive. |
