Is british racing green a good colour to go for??

I like it- but wondered if it could be sold on easily come resale time.

Like the look of this one:

Mini : Mini Cooper S Cabriolet

Thanks for your help!

I personally wouldnt have a Green car, though I do think BRG looks good on a MINI

You dont tend to see to many around on the 2nd hand market, either MINI Cherished or private though

Exactly. And the reason for that is that they're probably not popular enough in green. i wouldn't have a green car either but it does look good on the mini.

If you want one, I'm sure others will too. If you see the logic.

I think green is a strange colour for a car; BRG is nice on a MINI but I doubt I'd buy that colour myself. I like dark silver, red or moo cow pats

Lovely looking car!

There is the exact same colour cabriolet near to me and I see it all the time and just love the green hood too!

I have owned probably about 3 green cars before now and loved them all despite my mum always telling me green cars are unlucky!

Moo cow pat sounds a nice colour

My previous two cars were green ...
but after seeing BRG in the flesh it was just too dark for my taste so I went with Dark Silver ...

Looks good, but poor resale value (according to the dealer I got mine from - Pepper White in the end). Slightly disappointing, cos I'd have had a green one!

Hi,
I have a BRG/Blk S with panther black/silver interior, factory darkened glass, sunroof, 17" S-Spokes and it looks brilliant, really suits the Mini and its mean little Bulldog stance - having owned an Astro black Cooper prior to the S I can honestly say the only other colour I'd consider is Black II - would never want DS, just too common.

BRG looks really great when it's freshly waxed with a deep, wet shine.

Not so keen on the interior colours of that S you are looking at but that is just my preference - I think the more black to set off the BRG the better.

I think the right colour is so depend on the actual car - for example modern Mercedes simply don't suit red but the 1989 SL500 looks incredible in red, Lambo's look amazing in yellow, a Porsche 911 is the only car I think can really pull off white.

Anyway, get the BRG it's sweet and rare!!

Oooh nice... I haven't seen too many BRG cabrio's here with a green roof to boot.... I'd go for it...
I don't even care what colour my next MINI is as long as its a "S Cabrio"... I'll be happy

If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off!

Wow thanks for your help people. I'm still very undecided!! I must admit I'd rather be a sheep and buy a black mini. Yes they're hard work to keep clean but when they are immaculate they look so good. Plus a black/blue car will always sell.
It's just that the green was a little different, and I could have got a good price for it ( maybe it was because of the colour!!).

My previous MINI was BRG. It looks especially good when the sun is shining and it's clean

As you're not sure, I'll explain; it's a creamy colour all over and then the cow pats are in black, splattered over the car in the odd area. Maybe there's a technical name for it? Anyone?

Surely thats just an all pepper white MINI with cow marking decals?

There's no technical name for it.
