Offline | I downloaded the Mini Configurator and burnt a CD. However, when I run it I cannot get the Paint or Wheels options to work. I click on Paint or wheels and nothing happens - I was expecting a choice of colours and wheels. What am I doing wrong ?? |

Offline | I had the same problem. Change your display resolution (mine had been set to 800x600 and it was cutting off the options displayed across the bottom and right edge. Adjust the display properties until you can see everything. Click on Control Panel and Display to access the settings. |

Offline | Thanks Dar - that's fixed it !! Just to stress to anyone else that has the same problem - 800 x 600 screen size is no good for this software. I have now set my screen to 1024 x 768 and the configurator works fine. |

Offline | getting the toolbox.dll error means that the program is looking in the CD-drive for the cd. Change ur config settings in the configurator as explained here before. Or just order a CD. 387 visitors are good for 273 downloads: 270 MEGS x 273 = 73.710MEGS!!!! ![]() hum.......CID ![]() |

Offline | I'm not sure, I've never seen the error. But my guess would be either the file/folder is locked/read only, or you are on a 2000/XP System and you do not have admin rights. Just a guess Fibik |

Offline | Does the file/directory already exist? If so, have you checked to see if the file is read only under 'Properties'? Have you tried renaming the file (if it's already there) to see what happens? My system is Windows 98 SE and hasn't got a WINDOWS\INF directory so I can't check this. |

Offline | Re: Am I missing something? Once you've burned the disk, you should be able to open it like any other CD using Windows Explorer and you should see "configurator.exe" in the root of the disk. That's the program you run (and also should autorun) if the disk is burned correctly. The first time you run the configurator, you may be told to run "Mini_Type_Installer.exe" first, found under the \MINITypeInstaller directory off the root of the CD. 2003 Dark Silver / Black Cooper S Black Leatherette, Anthracite Trim, Premium / Sport / Cold Packages, HK Stereo, Auto Wipers / Mirror Visit My MINI Site |

Offline | Got it.... Thanks for the reply msenkbeil. I figured it out shortly after I made that post. I went back and downloaded the ISO file. From which I used my Easy CD Creator to burn the CD. It worked great. By the way thanks everyone who helped get this posted. It's Great! 10MINI |
