To all MINI drivers: The program MINI configurator is now ready for download or ordering.
Goto:

- on right top you see:

AANBIEDING

click on that. On next window on the bottom click

MINI --> image files

Please read the info first. You can download it TILL next wednesday 25 september.
TIMES UP, NO DOWNLOADS POSSIBLE ANYMORE, ONLY CD-ORDER.

I've not tested the ISO file, so someone please post here if it works/doesn't work. I've not used that function of Nero before.

You should use Clone CD to burn it (it's free with many key generators found on kazaa)

I can confirm the Image file burns just fine and the program runs ... much thanxs to ERD and CID for making it available

Anyone like me who likes/wants a silk green car this program won't help you ... as its the only color not on it

What's with the "electic folding top"? Never heard nor seen that before ... is that a Euro thing?

Interiors are also only the Euro options.

Still fun to play with and thanx again for making it available

I'll Kazaa it for those MINI2 members who wanna grab it that way (and save CID some bandwidth purchase)

I could swear I saw one of these at my local dealer (International MINI, Milwaukee). The outside top is cloth, and the motorized roof slides back across the entire footprint of the "normal" moonroof. The fabric bunches up towards the back, so I suppose the total opening is probably only slightly larger than the normal front pane opening on a glass moonroof. I didn't look closely at the window sticker to find out the option cost/details.

to clarify:

1. download the .iso image file to your harddrive. make sure you got room. if you're on windows and have more than one harddrive, also make sure the drive your temorary internet files directory is on (probably c: ) has room as well or your file will be corrupt (internet explorer will act as if the download went fine even if it ran out of space so check your file size when done, should be 225600K).

2. your cd burner software should have an option like "make cd from image" or something similar, select the .iso image. you're not supposed to just put the .iso file onto the cd as a data file, that won't work.

UK Mirror Available

There is now a UK-hosted version of the MINI Accessories Software available to download.

The file is in .zip format, and includes a fully-working trial of Clone CD, as well as the 3 Clone CD files needed to burn the CD.

I'd go into the speeds reachable on the server, but I guess that's not important! I will add however, that the file is now a measly ~50mb, so it's now available to many dialup users.
