All,
can you hlp just bought a 52 cooper s, well happy with the purchase.... other than I seem just to have a cubby hole where the glovebox would be... is this normal. The car came with full leather, Sat nav Xenons, air con etc, I cant believe someone wouldnt pay a few quid for a glove box door.

Can I purchase just the door and any ideas where from and ease of fitment if so....

There are some MINIs out there with a strange combination of options , however everybody has a price limit when ordering new so some options get missed off the list dependant on what the purchaser values the most .

The glove-box is one of the easier options to fit so your lucky in that sense, and there's no need for programming .

The glove-box's on MINIs fitted with air-con have a tap in side and a little pipe on the rear that fits to the heater box, so that you can keep your glove-box cool inside, the ones without air-con don't, either will fit though, it depends on how fresh you want to keep your packed lunch .

Cool, and cool........ Thanks for this Im gonna wait for MiniMatts advice on Monday, get a second hand one, then roll on the summer, wife cn drive, beer cool in glovebox to watch some other non british team win at the Euros!
