| I've had the same problem after buying my mini. The MINI dealer tells me that it is classed as 'trim' therefore not covered under the warranty which I could accept if it was just the gear knob at the top, but it is the whole stick, which I would class as an essential part of the mechanics of the car. Its dangerous and was sold to me like that. Not impressed MINI! |

| if the whole stick lifts out & gear change is not possible,that is a warranty issue,not to mention dangerous..imo I'd rather push my mini than drive a ford or anything french.. ![]() Criteria for buying a diesel..1)long journeys.2)motorway miles.3)minimum 14k mls per yr.. |
