Gutted to hear the news.

I havnt been on the MINI scene for that long, but on most of the events I have been on, your motor has been there too. I echo what others have said, it was a stunning MCSC.

I think I may have some pictures of him, so I will scour the PC now and post any I have up.

Seriously thought mate it is a sad day when you get rid of a beloved and faithful motor.... Shame is that you don't have anything new to replace the hole left.

Yes Andrew - had him for 22 mths. The shortest was the second MCS, had that for 6 wks

Many thanks Jim. I am planning on taking another MINI friend from the US to the same spot on that pass in the next few weeks .

Sham, sorry to hear but I'm sure you will find another Mini to love someday. I love doing roundabout laps too, but they're not too common in the US. (We have to hunt for them, but it's worth it!)
