Hey folks,

As you can see I'm new around these parts, I ordered my Mini One last week and I'm currently waiting rather impatiently for it to be delivered within about six weeks (Its far to long).

I'm getting my mini with the standard body coloured roof, but then having it sprayed white by the dealers body shop and I also want the wing mirrors to be in white,

so what I would like to know : Is it better to get them sprayed white at the same time or to buy the wing mirror caps in white?

Sorry for the newbie question, but I'm sure i'll have more in the coming weeks lol!

Hey man, welcome to the fold. I'm afraid I can't answer your questions though, being a relative newbie myself....

Did you order it from Douglas Park or Harry Fairbairn?

Hi,

Id say have it done at the same time as they will have the paint mixed and the car will be in the body shop anyway.

My old MINI ONE (I hate saying that

) had the roof sprayed white by the dealer when it arrived, I was due to get the mirrors sprayed white as well, but in the end as they were fitting Checker Mirrors to a new black Demo, I got the white ones off that

I would have thought the dealer must have some spare white mirror caps laying around. Plenty of people switch to chequered or UJ or whatever.

I'd just buy a set of white mirrors - There shouldn't be any colour variation between the roof & mirrors.

Yeah i think it would be best to get them sprayed at the same time.

@ Mrstris: I got it from Douglas Park in Hamilton, went to all three of the local dealers and they offered the best deal and also were the nicest people to deal with as well.
