Cool Colours and Alloys Etc

Right.
I have bought a 1:18 mini model.
I know there is a model section but I didnt really want to discuss the actual model.
I want to change the mini as at the minute its a boring base model.
I just want a general opinion of what colours people prefer, alloys they like etc. Pics are always a good help to back up opinions.
I know this is a 1st post but was advised to come on here by a work mate
Thanks
Lee

Hi Lee,
It depends what you want. I have 15 inch wheels for several reasons.
1. Cheap tyres (not runflat etc)
2. Better ride quality
3. If you touch a kerb, the chances are you haven't damaged the wheel, just got some dirt on the tyres - no nasty kerb marks)
4. Big wheels with small discs look silly.

What model do you want? If its a cooper, it looks better in different colours due to the roof.

My favourite combinations based on cooper:-
Lightning blue - white roof, wheels and stripes
British Racing Green as above
Chilli red with white roof, stripes and wheels
Pepper white - black roof and wheels
Possibly nightfire red (I'm undecided) with a black roof and stripes

On a one, it doesn't really matter too much. This is just my opinion - its your car, have what you want! However, the half red leather with red colour line looks great with a red car for example, but avoid the white leather - it gets grubby instantly.
