If i go into the zone after 7pm (or whatever it is), stay the night there, do i need to be out before the morning 7am (or whatever it is)?
do the cameras only face cars going in?

The Congestion Charge operates during the week (Mon - Fri) so it will depend on what day you intend on stay over in London. The cameras face both ways to ensure they nab everyone!

The only thing Boris is likely to do (aside from say "Crikey!" a lot) is to scrap the £25 charge (much to Porsche's delight) and review the expansion of the charging area to the west.

If the conservatives were really smart, they might consider lowsering charges to a more sensible level - and then have they entire London electorate vote for them in the forthcoming General Election, brought about by a vote of no-confidence in Gordon Brown.

Actually, that's a distinct possibility rather than the fantasy I thought it would be when I started typing!
