My MINI drinks a lot more than I do these days.
3 MINIs since Sept 2001, well over 80k in total and I can't stop smiling whenever I get behind the wheel. Any excuse and out come the keys, well thinking about it, I never need an excuse

Getting drunk is cheaper these days.

I was recently in Gibraltar, and the petrol there is 68p a litre. Going back through the border to Spain, we were only allowed two bottles of wine through customs. I wanted to down the wine and fill the bottles with petrol, but my g/f wouldn't let me

It will never wear off. You may have a bit of a lapse, it'll get a bit dirty, you'll give it a really good clean, see how fit it is and fall in love all over again. You'll start referring to it as he or she, give it a name then start buying it presents, remember its birthday and talk to it as you drive along. Your friends and family may have you sectioned and your significant other may leave you.
All par for the course really and if this site didn't exist, god knows how MINI enthusiasts would go round expressing their emotions.......

Every time! I hate being a passenger and can't remember the last time anyone drove me somewhere and as my other half drives a clone silver mark4 golf TDI, you can probably understand why.

No one can help us now, we are too overcome by this obsession. We may as well just admit we have it and keep driving!!

I had a nice sensible Audi, superb cars, I loved mine!

But the Cooper S is much more fun.

Ride with sport suspension and 17 inch wheels is hard, but not bone shaking. Drove one today with standard suspension but still with 17 inch wheels and it was a lot more complient (but not wallowy).

I like 'em big...
