I've had it a fortnight now and I've done over 1,500 miles! And it's only a mile to work (and I often walk that!!)
I just love it, I can't get enough of it. I'm only not driving it now because I've forced myself to stay in tonight (and that's mainly because I cleaned it this morning. Then drove it. Then had to clean all the blimmin bugs off of it. If I go out now I'll only need to clean it again and the neighbors will think I'm insane..!)
Does the obsession wear off after a while...? (Please tell me it does).
4 years, 2 MINIs and a total of 55,350 miles later and can tell you....
it doesn't wear off! Sorry
Sorry to have left the ranks of Mini2 It has become too commercial and I can't accept the embedded advertising in our posts. Thanks to everyone for the great previous 5 years!
I picked up my '06 Cooper S Checkmate last wednesday, so not even 1 week ago - we've now covered 1051 miles together ......and I only live 4 miles from work
No, not for many...................has lasted over 30 years for me if you include the classic Mini obsession I still have, if anything the new MINI is more addictive because you can have the same fun drives but over longer distances (more refined / less tiring than the original !)
Obsession NEVER wears off! Ive had my mini now for nearly 3 years, and I still love driving it as much as the first time I got it!
funny thing is, is I convinced the misses mum to buy a Mini ONE, and when she test drove it, I told her that once she engages first gear and pulls away, she will be in love and will put a deposit down! after 30mins we got back to the dealers and she was screaming for the dotted line!
