Sign the fair fuel price petiton!

Hi guys
Its with great regret that im in the process of selling my much loved Cooper S, due to the cost of petrol. Just came across this petition:

Telegraph campaign: Fair deal for car drivers - Telegraph

If you feel the price of fuel in this country has become ridiculous...please sign it......if enough people sign it maybe i can return to my Cooper S

Superchargedddddddddd!

Signed. I do think that the government has longed stopped listening to the public, but we have to keep trying as this is still meant to be a democracy!

most of the oil/commoditiy traders here in my office have said that they don't see anything changing in the price of oil until september october. Very soon the markets go to sleep as all the traders dissappear for summer and they come back in september and the market gets life again. The main reason for price of oil going up is due to speculators buying in, the only reason they have moved on to oil is due to the rest of the markets getting tighter.

So i'd get used to it. But before you jump work out the real cost of moving to a diesel. With Diesel sitting 13-15p higehr than petrol and the cost of the diesels being higher its hard to regain the intial outlay if doing normal milage.

I am definitely not getting rid of my MCS! I am lucky in that I work from home and so my fuel costs aren't that bad. But I am going to enjoy it for a while longer yet!!

I agree with diesel, diesel only makes sense if you are doing high mileage. If you just do town mileage etc then you are better off buying a petrol car as they are becoming more and more economical.

no point all been done before no one listens, what we need is a general strike or 1000s of people blocking refinery's until it comes down in price

i even heard diesel is going to be £1.80 a litre by the end of the summer

Your right. This government or should I say dictatorship does not care 1 iota what we sign or say regarding fuel prices in any way.

If this was a democracy then they would listen to use and do something to sort it out.
The only thing that they listen to and will wake them up is action.

Its been proven before! what is needed is a big demonstration/protest right through Westminster and blocking the refineries to make Muppets that are running this country to is knees listen.

I know that, you know that and so does all the truckers etc as shown previously.

.....my 2p
