Which roof colour to choose?

Hi everybody,
I am just going to buy my first Mini Cooper in nightfire red but can't decide if I like a black or a white roof.
I think the black option makes it look more elegant and mature which I like but I'm not sure it's the right look for a Mini.
Any advice?

I think white roof with the red shades look real nice if you have a set of white alloys, mirror caps etc.

Black also looks nice if you maybe have black mirror caps, and maybe some black stripes.

Its all down to personal preference, what colour are you swaying to and why?

It has to be classic black!! It would look even better with a panoramic sunroof. Go on.... black... you know you want it!

the first picture in this thread shows harpo's nightfire red/white mini. i personally really like the combo with the white roof.

I would say white, because I saw a red MINI yesterday going along, with a white roof and there was something very classy about it and I thought 'mmm that looks nice'. I am not sure on this but maybe black would make the car hotter. Good Luck with your choice!

I'd say white.

We were looking for a Red Cooper with white roof as I think they look better. But we offered such a good deal on a Red one with a black that we couldn't resist.

However, part of the reason we wanted white was to put a Union Flag on the roof. We then got it vinyl wrapped in white and then put the flag on top.

Having experienced the same car with both black and white roof, I'd have to say I prefer the white.

I'm with Kini on this one. A nightfire red/white has popped up near me recently, and I have to say I really like it.

I also think it makes the red look lighter and brighter which is a good thing in my opinion

I think I'm going to go with black. It just feels right and at the end of the day, it's down to personal taste really so there's no right or wrong decision.
