just posted to say hello to the forum, ive just bought myself a red 02 reg mini and i love the thing, wasnt sure before hand but now ive got it i just have to give it some round the corners, corners that in my old car i was heading for the brakes i now find myself pushing harder on the gas.


im a yorkshire born leeds living dude, car is??? well ...exterior wise..... bland, i ,ll be needing someone or somebody to point me in the right direction for bonnet stripes and i also want to be part of the union jack squad so i need a supplier and fitter of them, only prob i see is that the roof is red and the kits ive seen are for white roofs, im sure theres someone on here though that can put my mind at rest.

Hi im from bradford 32 years old im new to this site also bought myself a 03 mini cooper one month ago, wasnt sure at first myself from coming from 2 litre sports cars but i love it still feel i should of gone for the cooper s, but it will happen in time im sure.

sorry i may have been a bit hasty but there was a fair few veiws and not one reply, ive since noticed guests can view too so maybe thats where the views came in and hence no replies.


anyway, i,ll check the pirate guy out, and the site is great ive just had a browse about, i tend to join forums based on what car i own but i think int his case it may be my last car forum for a while as i love the thing, really do, not had so much fun in a car for years, i cant believe the cars ive driven and owned before where so bland till i got myself in one of these.


its one of those cars you can mod too and not look like an idiot or chav .

roof and bonnet will be my limit on the outside but ive been looking at the bluefin chip could be 380 quid well spent that, although i was tld it was closer to 300 by friends i cant see that but i did look at the package on lohen which incs fitting panel filter and plugs.

be nice to get to know some of you at some point.

its an o2 reg red mini one, i believe its got some kind of pack on it chilli maybe? although this wasnt stated when i bought it,

5 or 6 (i forgot ) spoke alloys, half leather seats, leather steering wheel/gear stick, height adjustable seats, outside chrome inserts on the bumpers ect...

nice little car, drives like a dream,i think it needs my personal touch on the outside tho, its just red, no stripes no roof decals just plain old red with a one badge on the back (which i dont like) i dont like it because it looks wrong to me not because i want it to be something its not,

so a few personal touches and it,ll see me right for a while. cash is in the bank just need to find someone to take it off me .

Where abouts in Leeds are you? I'm near Garforth. You should get yourself down for Nicky J's Dales run in july! One of the best runs and it's local!!

im near kirkstall abbey, and i might just do that if im not busy...
