Offline | At what petrol price will you stop driving? As the title says what price will you stop driving and hang the keys up for good ![]() Price is per litre I put down to never stop driving but i will only stop when i cant afford any more. Public transport would be more expensive for me if i wasnt driving which is rediculous! ![]() |

Offline | Well, for some people it just isn't a option to stop driving and seen as they are going to be putting road tax up by the end of the year too, it is going to make it even harder to run a car. ![]() ![]() The Orange Blob As My Avatar Is The Mascot Of JetAlliance Racing Called 'Carli'. |

Offline | Would rather get an alternative fuel car than stop driving, but we've been a one car family as opposed to two for ages, despite living in the country and having no public transport links to any shops, schools or anything. |

Offline | not an option for me, 2 miles from the nearest bus stop and if I caught the first bus I'd get to work for about 12 and have to leave at 1:30 to be back on the last bus |

Offline | I live two miles from the nearest bus stop so I need to drive. My work and college is 12 miles from home so public transport isnt an option. Last time I had to get a bus from home to my college it cost me £8 return for the first bus and £4 for the second bus. 5 days a week works out more than me putting super in every week so there is no point. ![]() |

Offline | Not so bad for me - Luton is small place and everything I need, including work, is within a 5 min car drive, 5 min bike ride, or a 15-20 min walk. Lies need defending all the time. The truth defends itself. |

Offline | Same here no tax breaks for us though eh were not to bad for buses one every 10 minutes to manchester during the day but who wants to sit on a bus for over an hour for what can be done in the car in under half an hour. Its two buses to my works but the journey can take and hour and a half as opposed to 15 minutes in the car. I am partly glad petrols getting prohibitively expensive because there are too many cars on the road and not enough people who know how to drive them. Also you cant run an untaxed and uninsured car without petrol. |

Offline | I couldn't work without driving; public transport just isn't an option given the places I have to get to and the times I have to get there for. I'm self-employed and can't pass on my increased travelling costs to the customer - so increased fuel prices are hurting, and it's only going to get worse. |

![]() Obsessive Car Cleaner OCC | Ive voted £2 but i wont stop driving at all, its already getting to the point were i may have to sell my MCS with filling up costing £55 its getting rediculous, so it may be another cheap car and have to sell this one. As chilli said, its everything really and selling is a huge change for me. Ill be doing 2 Runs this month and the fuel bill for them alone is going to be in Excess of £300 ![]() |
