For those looking for the iRacer MINI r/c Toys-R-Us has them on the shelves for $29. I've seen these on the web for $50+. They aren't listed on the Toys-R-Us website last time I checked but your local store should have them. Mine had 5 in stock and 2 of the Mercedes Smart car.

These little things are fun!

(note: I do not work for Toys-r-Us. Just passing along info for those interested)

I just went to a local Toys-R-Us today, and looked all over by the hotwheels and matchbox cars and RC cars - but I saw no sign of these things anywhere. I'd love to get one but I agree that $50 is too much.

I'll check another Toys-R-Us this weekend and see if they have any of them... or perhaps I'll call around first this time!

My store is in Cherry Hill NJ. These are fairly new to the US so maybe all the stores haven't received stock yet.

Got my MINI at Toys "R" Us yesterday after reading this thread. It's great except I cannot get it to go straight...even after using the trim knob in the center of the steering wheel. I seem to need a finer adjustment as when I get "close", it's right if I go one detent of center, and left the other way. Anybody else able to get theirs to go straight without using the steering?

Mine did that too until my 3 year old stepped on it. Now it tracks straight!!

Picked up a red MINI iRacer last night as a birthday gift for myself. It's great fun. It's impressive at work too but the florescent lights in the office are hampering my racing aspirations.

I recommend these especially for you MINI owners with friends dying to drive your MINI. I have no problem handing over the wheel of this MINI to them.

Yes! I noticed that too. Florescent lights interfere with the IR signal. I thought mine was broken but I tried it again at home and it worked fine.
