| MINI2 Master | It can't be anything like the original - not even close - it makes me cringe with embarassment as a MINI owner that they are even trying... my Mini friends will never let me hear the end of it... The bodykits/spots/stripes really don't help... the proper italian job film's Minis had nothing they didn't need. Naff. |

Offline | That image reeks of pshop! I agree that the chances of the new Italian Job being good is slim. Very slim. Sorry hollywood. Will I see it? Of course. I can see the film of Beckerman being replaced with a mission impossible mini cd. There will be more explosions. The mofia villan will be overdone and overly evil. Breaking into the traffic computer will become overly complex. Charlies fooling around won't be just suggested to the audience. Any class will be abandoned for ratings. The chase could be great! But will there be rooftop scenes? I am still looking forward to it and hope to be surprised. Given my low expectations, it might not be hard to put a smile on my face !BTW, lightbody, I believe the original Italian job had the red, white, and blue minis decked out with strips and three driving lights. |

Offline | Italian job. That red one is an S (silver grille!!) and I believe it's the only one they ordered. Strange that they are throwing it about like that. I figured it was to have a different role. They ordered 30 of the others so I guess they intend on topping the original film stunt wise. All the cars are Italian spec models by the way. Compared to the originals, those driving lights look pants. Last edited by MiNiGuY : Sep 26th, 2002 at 12:31 PM. |

Offline | I wish them the best of luck . But I still feel that its one of those films that should have been left alone. There can only ever be one Italian Job. Hang on lads I've got an idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Offline | this is what kills the project (incase it wasn't properly dead already) right there, how can you replace caine with marky? another prediction; it won't end in a (literal) cliffhanger, hollywood has to spell everything out. cooper s '05 x brg/white/chrome, cordoba/anthracite/chrome, flik wasp 17x7 x delivered july 26th 2005 cooper '02 replaced x brg/white, R83 white, chrome, cordoba x built june 21st, arrived july 15th on the traviata, delivered july 26th 2002 |
