I came back to my car to find a shopping trolley had been pushed into it a few months back. What is it with people?

They're envious.

Terrible thing envy. Still, it won't make you feel better. I hate these people.

Yeah, some git's dropped something on my roof, outting a big dent into the gutter strip and a big scuff mark on the window glass. No name left, no details, no taking of responsibility at all. Which rather sums up Britain these days.

Must be.

Couldn't possibly be because trolleys can be difficult things to control at the best of times, and worse when fully-loaded, could it?

Yeah, but I was referring more to the fact that people key minis, and that lets face it, you wouldn't push it in would you - that makes it sound like a dent which would make only scratching damage at walking pace!

I blame the car park owners who give you a 6x 6 spot to park in half the eeeejits can't drive a car, let alone drive a trolley

The difference is that some people have a conscience. I would feel guilty if I'd caused damage like that even by accident.

Some do, most don't.

So would I, but would you really leave your details if nobody saw you do it? I mean, honestly?

(Ooh, an idea for a thread )

Its true - someone told me that (and this includes the council) car park bays have to be measured. However, the car they use is either a Ford Escort or Anglia. Both of these are old cars, and with new legislation, cars have grown. Why haven't parking spaces? And people wonder why people take up 2 bays!!!

I'm very sorry to see that!! People who do stuff like that will get it back ten fold. I am sure you will have your MINI back to the way it was very soon!

Note to self - buy an older house with a double garage! I can get the mini in mine, but its a bit tight at times, and I have a slightly wider garage than average. You must struggle! I do like those new houses with underground parking - you know the ones where you drive your car under the house and have a garage thats as big as your house - you won't scrape your mirrors there!

Who has a Mk1 Fiesta anymore?

Still, hopefully, you'll have your car looking like new soon. Hope it doesn't happen to you again.

Sorry to see this pal, disgusts me.

I hate parking in small car parks, My gym car park is a real squeeze at times my stomach turns when I come out to find a rusty escort sitting next to me.

I've actually been sat in the car (old car not my mini) and had a passenger get out of the car next to me and hit my car, and then I got the dirty look for mouthing off at them. If they did it to my mini I don't know what I'd do.

Sorry to see that

Something similar happened to my MINI last year, it was on the rear bumper though. Just came back to find a dent, scratches and like you, no note whatsoever.

One plus came out of it - I used it as an excuse to justify an aero kit to myself!!

Hope its not too costly to repair.

Same thing happened to my brothers car. So annoying when you spend all that money on a car, keep it looking great and that happens
