Offline | same my pals thought they would be squashed in it! my mum was fairly suprised aswell! the no glove box cover deffo makes it look more open inside though, and the light handles and facings inside apposed to the dark grey! Mini_Me_Emma ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Ok now Im depressed. I feel like the boy who cried wolf.. At first.. I thought there was a problem with the whinning sound when I turn my wheel.. only to find out its the electric motor. Then I think the front lights are not working.. only to find out you need to pull the indicator shift towards you! (amateur I know.. The previous car had a special button for it!) And now.. I have a frigging puncture!!!.. tried to put air in it but it didnt make a difference ![]() I think I know what caused it aswell.. I tried to be a hero and park into a tight space.. and my rear right wheel went on the curb and was there for a while whilst I tried to move myself around etc!.. Can something like that cause a puncture!?? Also.. would a puncture or tyre replacement be covered in my warranty with the dealer? (I cant call them now because they'll be closed... but need peace of mind here!) Oh but apart from that.. I just love it!! Did about 40 miles within Leicester.. lovely! |

Offline | hahaha! Classic! i don't think you can get a replacement tyre or get a puncture fixed through your warranty. however if their able to fix the puncture without having to get a new tyre it wont cost much....new tyre? unlucky! ![]() They are amazing cars! Mini_Me_Emma ![]() |

Offline | i couldn't tell you, it would depend on what make of tyre you go for, some are more expensive than others! you'd prob go for the same make that the other 3 tyre's are as it would look a bit odd if not as the make is normally around the side of it. they might be able to fix it as is! i wouldn't of thought that would mess up your tyre, you might of went over a bit glass or a nail or something. who know's it'sjust one of those things i suppose! | MINI2 Regular | Had a pretty constructive day today. I took the 'checks' off the middle of the car.. so now its just 2 black stripes going all the way through. Looks SO much better in my opinion! There was hardly any residue left.. so polishing it all off was easy. Ill post some pics up soon.. No american number plate... no Herbie patterns! While Im here.. I might aswell ask two questions that have been bugging me! My boot door doesnt stay open automatically! I have to hold the thing up! Surely theres a way to keep it up without me holding it? Also... I've got a pure silver cooper.. Its got a few chips and scruffs here and there.. has anyone covered them up using spray or paint etc?.. Any tips would be most welcome! |

Offline | Good stuff, definately post pictures of the new look. The boot door is strange, sure it is on the hydraulic arms and should stay up by itself ![]() For the chips I would recommend getting it done properly, they can touch it up with the proper paint code, sand it down and buff it and it will be as good as new. I would never have the guts to do it though lol I would get it done professionally ![]() |

| 11 weeks!! | hey! my dad has had this same problem on his car, you need new hydraulic arms for the bootlid! i dont think they are expesive but ts worth going to the dealer about if it has been like that since you got it? sounds like the aircon needs serviced, prob worth mentioning to the dealer too, again if you still have a warranty woth them? oh and ive sent you a PM in reply to the PM you sent me lol ![]() ![]() |
