Hi

I am looking to buy a second hand Cooper possibly an 05 plate. What extras should I ensure that the car to improve its price over time.

Also is it worth having one that has a chili pack? what does this include> and any other special additions/packages that I should look out for?

Chilli pack is good.
TLC is absolutely essential (if you intend to keep the car and it doesn't have TLC, negotiate that they service the car as TLC or you won't buy it - they WILL do it - I know it!)
Aircon - pointless, but people want it.

Chilli pack includes:
Sports seats with half leather
16" alloys
Spoiler
Carpet mats
Passenger seat height adjust
Chrome line exterior
Sports suspension
Silver interior trim
Front fogs
Interior light pack
Computer
Storage compartment pack
Cooper S steering wheel OR 3 spoke
Leather gear knob

CD Player was optional at the time, but most have one of some sort.
Heated front screen is good in the winter - you also remove one blank switch.
Traction control for the reasons above.
