I went to Think MINI, in Holt Heath by me the other day to get my brakes changed. Wheels came off to reveal that i had been given the wrong bolts which had stripped the thread of all 4 wheel hubs! Anyways more to the point, they did a brilliant job! Fixed a couple of other things while it was there and all at a very good price! Am really impressed with the service i received and i will definatly be taking all 3 of our MINIs there whenever they need something! Cheers guys!

I had to have 4 new wheel hubs on my mini because of stripped threads. They also changed the wheel bearings at the same time, as apparently that's the normal thing to do???? This was done by BMW, so had a price to match.

How much did you get charged, if you don't mind me asking?

The bearings are attached to the hubs apparently. Im not sure if I can say as they did me a bit of a deal as i am designing their web site. Tell me how much BMW charged you can i can say if it was any where near the price....

Lol. no where near mate. that is EXTORTION! hourly rate is £50 i think, compared to BMW's £103+VAT

£135.60 inc VAT at my local dealers and I think they stripped them in the first place

Oh no! Mine were stripped curtosey of Wheel Mania is Sheldon - sold me M14x1.5 bolts instead of M14x1.25. So i got a nice price on a new set of wheels. £135+VAT is alot! When you need something doing mate, cannot reccomend this place enough, guys are really friendly!
