i'd greatly appreciate as i am a new pre owned owner and i don't know whether or not i have auto dimming mirrors. thanks in advance!!

If you have Auto Dip then there will be no knob to adjust the dip

and it will darken when exposed to bright light

it would have the universal garage on it as well too right?

Tbh it is a bit of a pain, cause it changes even if you don't want it to

No thats a separate option, which hardly anyone had! I suppose its because if you have an electric garage (s) / gate (s), they come with a remote anyway, so why pay £180! As has been said, there is no knob to adjust it, and also in the middle there is a little sensor - looks a bit like a TV remote.
