Offline | Well I've just come to the conclusion that I'm better off just keeping the car I have - 55 reg MCS - put up with the increase in road tax and NEVER buy another new car. Until the road tax is as much as my car is worth it makes sense for me to run it into the ground. It's the only way I can see how to deal with massive depreciation induced by the government. If people think my car is too small to travel in they can get on one of Boris's new Electro-Routemasters! That is until all the petrol runs out and I'm using Dobbin to pull my MCS around with me holding the reins through the sunroof and we all spend the weekend building barns and wearing Amish clobber.![]() |
