Possibly an ex Contract Hire car. They usually come with full maintenance, so TLC is not needed.

Actually you're right. My MINI has TLC XL so I'd automatically added additional servicing. My mistake.

Maybe actually, cos it has a handsfree car kit fitted?? (Which really needs to come out!)

It isn't one of those that has drilled holes through the trim is it? They are horrible!

I'd be checking the roof very carefully for any sign of the known wear, as it would be costly to replace and I imagine it's out of warranty now?

It would be worth checking the convertible forum for known problems (roof being the biggest). If the RAC report comes back all clear and everything else seems in order then you have yourself a bargain, does seem very keenly priced to me.....

That's usually a tell-tale sign of a company car.

No, the bracket comes through the 'gap' at the side of the stereo.

Must admit, guy seemed ok. He let me, the wife and the two kids take it for a test drive!! (Leaving my company car behind as security )

It sounds a bargain, but as Laura said check the roof as this could be expensive to replace

How much! that seems very cheap, should be for sale around £11,5/£12,000.

Make sure it is hpi clear. By the way run flats start around £110 each.

Really for 17s! I'm sure Supa-Dupa-Cooper paid £185 each for hers on 17s! Don't tell her!

Hopefully the inspection should uncover this? That's not too bad for tyres.

Check for the canvas wearing or developing white/shiny marks over the hinges and make sure the roof mechanism works properly

You can upload pics to your gallery here and link to them, or alternatively you can load them up to somewhere like Photobucket and post the link here

You would have to ask it might just be a mechanical inspection and not include a data check, if not you can do this online. I've seen Pirelli Eufori run flats 205/45/R17V (I should say not the best tyre) for £103 not including fitting or £117 with fitting.
