LSD Question

Quick question on LSD (not the drug ) if I may?

I've been reading about the 'rubbing' sound associated with the LSD on Cooper S's, mines an R52.

When driving at low speed with nearly full lock I get the rubbing sound when 'in gear' however if I dip the clutch and coast, the sound stops.

Can the wise one's of the forum confirm that this is classic LSD or is there something more sinister lurking in the steering??

Thanks

MIB
