Offline | Do bear in mind that the increases in interior room are pretty marginal and, in many cases, a bit of an illusion created by removing otherwise useful storage space. For instance: 1. The removal of the concealed side compartments in the boot so as to include that space within the official volume of the boot! Cheeky one that! ![]() 2. The reduction in capacity of the rear side pockets and the glove box. 3. The reduction by 2/3rds in the capacity of the front door pockets. Tigger. ![]() Unintimated and I'm back!! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009! |

Offline | we did two camping trips one in r53 the other in R56 Same stuff was taken on both trips, but with the R53 we had to tie the tent onto the roof, in the R56 we managed to get everything inside Stu ![]() |

Offline | ROFL ![]() It is amazing how much stuff you can get in when you try (in either car) Daughter is never happy though as she always gets "packed in" - going round a sharp corner something always falls on her - normally pillow or sleeping bag, shoes, camping stove even <g> Stu |
