tlc mileage problem and due dates refused

hi, i have just had a problem with my car at the local dealer. my car is a july 04 coopers. car was in 14/10/05 for oil service at 9k,
27/04/07 for brake fluid at nearly 20k
18/10/07 for inspection 1 at 22k not sure if this covered oil or not.
i was told at the 22k service that i need to bring the car in about now to keep it on track and to get all the tlc freebies in, so went in yesterday (30/08/08) at only 25k to be told by a different service manager that the tlc expires on 12/07/09 and the car will not be covered because its not due until 18/10/2009 or @37k some 12-13k time.whichever happens first. i will be charged for the next one.
any ideas?

I would say what they told you is correct. Your car was only serviced like 2-3k ago (this would include oil change) and therefore you will not be due another service until 2 years from that date or 12-15k miles which is what they said. Unfortunately your TLC runs out before either of these things will happen as you do so little mileage!

Mine is the same, I am owed a break fluid change from the TLC but my car simply wont need it by the time my TLC runs out next month!

BMW simply wont carry out the work if it doesn't need doing!

Apparently after posting here at 12:18pm, Charlie couldn't wait a any longer than 39 minutes and opened this thread at 12:57pm.

I propose the threads be merged if any moderators are lurking about near here.

All the best,
Andrew.

Only 2-3k since a service?

My R56 MCS has covered 20,000 miles and hasn't had its first oil change yet!
