Smile Is this a good buy?

Potentially looking at this car - does anyone know the owner or the car itself?
What should I specifically be looking at?

Any bargaining tips?

Thanks!

Yeah looks alright. However it is a buyers market and if you take your time and shop around you might find something better.

I don't understand this "has done very few motorway miles" the car has covered 51,000 miles, if they have not been done on the motorway that means more wear on the car/engine. Nothing to be worried about just seems an odd thing to point out.

I noticed the motorway miles statement. Mileage is ok for 2004 car, but it is an odd statement to make.

Looks like a lovely car. Would double check statements like JCW suspension etc. I have had conversations with owners claiming they JCW had the brakes and suspension, when in fact they hadn't. Turned out they just assumed they had because they'd bought the JCW tuning kit.

Portiacraft : Mini Cooper S Works

Or this one .

Raaksy - I would look at the comments on the forum if you havent owned a mini before and look at all the things people upgrade to which they didnt originally think about. eg - aero kit, any carbon fibre interior, any tlc package that you can transfer...

No not particularly - but anyone IMHO who has JCW and suspension upgrades does'nt do so for the 'school run' - a no brainer to me!

But 99% of people who do put them on, do it to improve the car - not just to thrash the pants off it! Just take a look around this forum...which I thought you would have done, considering the 1,021 posts!
