The Bristol & Swindon RSOC Regional Day at Castle Combe is by far the best show I go to regularly. Lots of traders and club stands, charity rides in some of the best RS's in the country, concours, guest presenters and non stop track action all day.

I would imagine that MU09 would have a select group of merchandisers but probably all under the MINI corp badge.

They must be selling merchandise but if not then hope they let us do it. We have big plans for this but all depending on if MINI UK want us or would allow us to be there. ??!!

Misano was all MINI only stuff, accessories, mostly "lifestyle" products.

All traders at MINI United 2007 were MINI Branded - local dealer selling all sorts of MINI accessories from the main tent area & including fitting in the pit garages.

Prices for accessories was very good and trade was brisk

Food concessions were B Expensive & small portions - prices dropped or quantities increased on the last day

I'd back this and so would Northern MINI. Only reservation would be not too far South, Midlands? I dare say NewMINIScotland would be interested but again to far South and I reckon they'd loose interest.

Needs some hard core new MINI fans to help pull this off, even though I am MINIless at moment, I would come (again as prev mentioned date dependant) Would be good to see all the products available for the new MINI in one place and of course see maybea few show cars?

More of a run man than a show man. Would support this idea as far as I can. I like Phil's MINI challenge idea, as the events are brilliant. I also like the "at a track" idea, the Top Gear run proves that this sort of thing works well.

Excellent Idea Mikey, and seems to have a groundswell of support at this early stage. Good luck with it and hopefully everyone who cries out for more MINI traders will come and support the event wherever its held

Notice the lack of traders though - the same as when I tried to set up a marquee for the British Mini show - only had 2 up for it
