New Mini Show - would you attend

I am looking into putting on a Mini show in 2009 just for New Minis.
I am looking at both indoor and outdoor venues.
I would hope to get ALL the traders interested & make it worth visiting.
So would you come. Poll started

I've voted indoor or outdoor, but it would depends on all the usual stuff such as location, and time. The other issue you may have with 2009 is purely the fact it's a very pact year with the 50th anniversary events and such.

I would attend indoor or outdoor IF I am in the country.

Somehow we have manged to do 3 events this year - it all comes down to advanced notice and planning mine / Jan's travel schedule and the best use of BA airmiles versus the value of the event.

Edit Poll Error ---
But then I stupidly hit the wrong poll button and voted outdoor - I need to wake up, it could be something to do with the vast ammounts of Italinn red wine consumed last night

In Italy

What Paul said

Think you'd be much better joining in on one of the established shows though rather than trying to do a separate one.

I would attend indoor or outdoor. As Paul has said it is dependant on location and time. But would be good to have a lot of traders etc all in 1 place!

I think a new event would be better than tagging onto an established one in these circumstances, IF you can get the trader interest.

Field of dreams time I think, if you build it, they will come....

Have attended the mixed shows but fed up with the anti new mini brigade - its still going on. Plus I have tried to get traders interested in doing them - even offering up a new mini marquee but hardly got any interest
Therefore thinking of going alone, but would need lots of traders to give it interest.

Don't know if you have ever put on a big event like this before Mikey (apart from Lakes weekender) but I have been on an organising committee running a large show for some years. If you need someone to chew the fat with over this and maybe give you some pointers towards things you might not of thought of then you have my number

Indoor has to be safer - as much fun as outdoor is on a sunny day if the rain comes down it will be a wash out, and jsut look at this year's weather!

You could always tie it into another event that is on in the same region ..........

some indoor show have a petrol problem .

you may have to empty your tank or turn up well in the red.

I think outdoors .

Would be good to go to a show where you not the outsiders.

Neil.

Indoors or Outdoors for me!

I think it would great to big up The Lakes Tour with traders etc! That event was amazing, and will be going again in 2009!

I'd LOVE to go! I've not been to anything like this yet, and do have plans to get out there so Yes. It'd help to have it not too far from me, or at least central England.

Hi Mikey........ definitely. I think now there are enough cars out there for there to be a strong enough market to warrant a New MINI only show.

I'd support it no matter where it was, and if you need any help with the organisation, I love to get involved

Jon

somewhere like Gaydon would be well suited even if its just using the parking lot as Grass shows can get a bit boggy if it rains and indoor have petrol problems
