First things you bought when you bought your MINI

Ok so I bought my mini on monday and I've been looking desperately for things to compulsive buy

so far i want some works seats, or works brake kit. I've bought a MINI key ring and some white led side lights to match my xenons.

oh and its a mini jcw R53 i bought

What things should I buy? Is there any essential things I should get that make a big difference? e.g. strut braces?

Thanks, Dean

reduced pulleys seem to be a popular mod on the R53....best bhp for buck. and yea - a strut brace would be good, Alta induction maybe?

oh and a new set of shoes always goes down well!

my boss went and spent over $100 on good cleaning supplies for me ... just to make sure i kept it clean.

first thing i bought on my own was a very small thing ... a glovebox organiser.

I'm contemplating on either buying the JCW recaro seats, brake upgrade, or 200 to 210 JCW mini kit?

which ones would you go for?

I bought:

JCW 10bhp upgrade (200 - 210)
ipod link
and a box of cleaning gear!

Couldnt afford anything else at the time as I had just rinsed my savings on deposit, and insurance....

First things we bought were white led side lights and silver tipped indicators to take any yellow/orange away from the front.
Then a stubby aerial.
Then a Milltek.
Just replaced rubber mats with black carpet mats.

Next to do will be to get rid of runflats..

the 10bhp upgrade kit consists of JCW airbox and larger injectors. I thought that the car that I was buying was the full 210 (having been led to believe that it was) but was a little disapointed to find out that it was the 200 version so HAD to get it - couldnt spend all that money and regret it still ! !

Love my JCW

Think the upgrade was about £300 IIRC...

Better IC isnt essential for the JCW - better places to spend your money first IMO ....
