new member a few q?

hi everyone.
i currently own a 170 bhp skoda fabia vrs ramapped with a few other choice mods and it is a lovely car. but having previously owned a focus rs, escort rs turbo, audi a3 turbo i would like to go back to petrol and get a cooper s, what year did they start using the turbo over the sc?

2006 November was when the sencond gen (refered to on here as the R56) was released.

The first gen and second gen MINIs are quite obviously different. All second gen MCS's have a turbo instead of the Supercharger. Mine, built Sept 2006 was one of the last first gens produced.
