Offline | Pic of Cooper S sign, please Hi everyone, Iīve searched this Forum and the internet, but didnīt found a good pic. What I "need": Just a good picture of the Cooper S - sign placed on the rear of the car. I need it, because I want to make an airbrush on my garageīs door (inside, the door from the cellar to the garage) "Cooper S Parking only". As my babe will arrive late december (hopefully) Iīm not able to take a pic myself. So please, help me. |

Offline | Dennis77 Thanks. The aircraft in the picture I think you mean is a T-6 Texan belonging to Warbird Adventures at Kissimmee, Florida. I'm in the front of the "Marines" one in the bottom right corner of the photo ![]() I have a one sixth share of the red and white DHC-1 that's also pictured in the gallery. Great fun And like UCSDxBOi said, be sure to let us see the sign when you've finished making it. Mike. |

Offline | Itīs done. But it isnīt as good as I would like it to be. Iīm no Airbrush artist. Normally I use it only for model making. So I can paint cars, tanks and plains. This was the first time I did something like that. It was a "nice" work. First I had to print habuīs sign. Then I had to cut out the red filling of the S, and the free spares of the Oīs, the P and the R with a cutter. Now I had to transfer this details on the masking film. The third step was to cut out all the Rest of the sign. Then this had to be transfered to the self-adhesive film, too. Then I cleaned the door, and stuck the film onto it. I even had to stick all the small details into this film. At the end, everything was covered with the film, except the red S. Now I could paint this red. While the S was drying, I cleaned the gun and made it ready for the alloy silver I wanted to use for the lettering. As the S was completely dry, I removed the fillings of the lettering. In the S I had to adhere the small sticker, so the red S would be left after painting with the alloy silver. Now I was ready to paint the rest. All in all it looks not bad. It could be better, but Iīm quite happy with it. Now Iīm thinking what to do next. The door itself is dark grey. Iīm thinknig of making a "Cooper S inside" sign, just like the Intel patch. Or something like, "Cooper S parking only". Or I just paint the door white, like the wall. So there will only be left "Cooper S" on it. As I have no Digi-Cam pics will take some time. |
