United-Kingdom same difference in depreciation

Quick Question:

If I were to buy a cooper S specced to 25k OR a WORKS with same spec so like approx 27500….When I go to sell the car in say two years time…would I get the 2500 more for the works than the cooper S….That is…would the depreciation be the same percentage or at least similar?

In terms of depreciation the higher the spec, the more of the value of the options you'll lose. So a JCW having a higher "base" value should, in theory, be worth more than an S of the same overall initial cost (more options on the S to lose value on).

Paul is right............it's like comparing a cooper S with a cooper, the S will always have a higher base value than a cooper.

only thing is the JCW could be more desirable ( supply and demand, etc ) than an S so may hold it's value a bit better.
