Is this really the behaviour on the MINI2 Forum?

Hello and a good friday to you all!

Unfortunately mine started off a little not so great. I recently bought, or I thought I bought a Bonnet Scoop for my R53 from the classifieds. Well three weeks later after numerous emails I had to contact Paypal and open a dispute!
As this so called seller could not even have the decency to once email me. I suppose I was lucky that Paypal are there for instances like this. I can accept this behaviour on the nasty EbaY but not on a decent MINI forum?!

Anyway after complaining to Paypal and receiving my payment back I get this plastered all over my Private Inbox on here, I think you can sufficiently make up your own mind:

By, John Ler:

"you cheeky ba*tard, I gave you the money back, not paypal, cheeky ****, read you messages , Prrrick, it cost me £472 to post that to you, it isn't my fault there was no one there to accept it, the post office left a calling card but you didn't contact them to arrange another time and after so long they send it back to sender, which we got the item back on Monday, you have emails you will have read telling this you cock, if you hand been such a cock you could have had it for nothing, Ill just through it away instead, don't say (NOT TO BE TRUSTED) as I am the most trusted person you'll ever speak to"

This was after Paypal gave me my money back! There was never a calling card! Also this is a 24hour maned Depot were I work. And £472 for a posted Bonnet Scoop??
I just thought I would share this with you guys.

Not good, but I would say that I have had companies (not the PO though) claim they left calling cards... and they didn't. Even claimed to do this while I was in the house. One got caught out by our unusual door colour.

SO, it may not be as simple as it seems.

Still not a nice way to talk, and no emails etc. looks bad.

Not taking his defence but how is he to no that they never left a card and if it really did end up back to him for the reason he states then i dont see how it his fault. Thats Royal Mail.

Also you havent posted your email's that you sent him so who's to believe. Posting this about someone on a public forum and not posting your replies is not very fair is it?

If this guy really did post your item and it got sent back to him then is really his fault?

But who am i and what do i no both of you could be lying or none of you could be and both be telling the truth.

Also why are you blaming MINI2. Did this forum send it to you or did i private seller?

This is a public forum so any Nasty seller on eBay could do the same work on here as they do on there.

But hey im nobody so who am i to judge.

On another note there is no reason for talking to you the way he did in that email unless you gave just as much.

Just my un biased opinion.

The poster did not blame MINI2, they just pointed out that they would not expect to be treated in this way by people on MINI2.

Thanks for this post from:

I think your being rather jugemental on my part. If you look at the actual classified page were the transaction took place you will see numreous emails I had left this person, not to mention all emails left in the Paypal dispute pages!

The point is "he never sent anything" he did not have the decency to reply to one of my emails! As I mentioned before I work at a 24hr Depot were we always receive postal goods day&night, and if there was ever a need to "Royal Mail non delivery cards"

The reason I posted this thread is in NO WAY judgemental to the MINI2 forum! I love this forum as it is full of genuine and very helpfull members. What blew me is that somebody who is on here could be so rude and untrustworthy. This does no good for the integrety of the MINI2, and for a fact nobody on here condonse behaviour like this. If anything all I want to do is to make our members realise just to be a little bit beware of the scoundralls that are around.

So before you start looking at everyway to blemish me in this, just take a look at the facts before you call somebody a liar, and I dont mean to be harsh but after a spell of this transaction it burns a little when somebody else makes out I am the guilty one.

He may or may not be the "most trusted person you'll ever speak to" but he certainly is one of the most incoherent.
