Funny smell

Hi,

I've noticed that wherever I accelerate from around 50km/h to 100km/h++, there is a funny smell coming from the air con. It doesn't stink but neither is it pleasant. But at the next stop and acceleration, the smell is not there. It only happens during the 1st acceleration of the day. After that, when I'm cruising, theres no smell anymore. A friend of mine was saying it is probably the supercharger working overtime.

Also, anyone ever noticed that the air coming out of the pasenger's central vent is slightly warmer than the other vents? I've checked the ventilation and its fine. I'm a bit perplexed why only that particulat vent and not the others.

Any ideas anyone?

I had a funny smell comming from the vents under first acceleration, figured the Cabin Filter needed changing and it did help.....however soon after, the AC compressor quit working! Thank gawd for e-bay as I picked a new correct year comressor for under $150 and cool air and no smells. Never smelled anything from the S/C, as it would be hard to get the smell into the vent system.
Warmer vent on one side over the other....ya got me mate.
