Going to look at a Cooper S on Saturday ...

As the title says, I am going to look at a MCS on Saturday and wondered what you people thought of the spec.

Its a 2005 dark navy blue checkmate with a silver roof. Done around 19,000 miles and is priced at £10,995. Do you think this price is about right for that age/mileage?

I love the colour, but is it hyper blue? Or is it a special colour because it is a checkmate?

The colour is not hyper blue. It's a darker sort of blue. They call it Space Blue. Try and knock him down to 10k! Dwell on the fact that its 4 years old and an older model!

A friend of mine bought a 55 reg checkmate with 22k miles only a few weeks ago and paid £9995 so haggle a bit.

Hi im the one who buzz999 told you about yeah i got mine for 9995, with 22000 on clock and remaining tlc pack. Also a friend of mine just got the 06 Checkmate with 12000 on it for 10999 so they hang around these prices but they look fab and there are only 804 of them made, i wouls try and get just under 10k.
