Question What do you hang your key on?

For various reasons, I can't hang my MINI key on the same ring as my house keys. So, I need a key fob/ring. As the MINI key will be by itself, the "official" one (see attachment) isn't really suitable.

Sooo, what does everyone else do with their fat little key?

Grommit,
I keep my house keys & car keys on seperate key rings.

My MINI key is on the key ring that you show in your post.
It works OK for me. Kinda big, but it is easy to find.

Have you considered the MINI "horseshoe" key ring?

Be creative & make you own "custom" MINI key ring!!!!

Life is short! Why drive a boring car?!

Funnily enough, the MINI is a maxikey with a tiny slot that wouldn't even allow it to fit the MINI keyring provided by our dealer. I filed the opening of the key to suit.
Does the factory alarm require a second device? Wanted to get it once parts are in stock, but my keyring is already gigantical!

I'm actually gonna try and sell my MINI key ring as it's just taunting me with it's uselessness.

That big fat key sits on a small carabiner with my other keys and remotes. I don't like it. The other day some keys were hanging so low they were touching my leg -very annoying. I am considering ostrasizing my mini key.

sad goodbye to 2002 Chili MCS

Mine sits on a wire with a little screw clasp. It has a clip on it to attach to my bag. Because the wire is flexible, the keys don't dig into my leg when I put them in my pocket.

I used to have my fat key on the picture you have there, but it broke....so now it's hanging on nothing

I bought my wife that cool keyring and it last three weeks before she'd lost it!

The little screw mechanism which locks it must have unwound.

Are the keys or fobs different for the MCS?

The keys for the MCS are the same except they have a metal type sticker over the plastic open button on the key.

The MINI logo on a wire has two annoying qualities: thhe screw clasp loosens over time, and the dangly bit wears holes in my trouser pockets.

I had three of the "MINI logo on a wire" key fobs, and each one of them broke. (you'd think I would have learned after the 2nd one )

Sometimes the wire comes out of the threaded part, other times it's the logo itself just splitting open and becoming lost.
