I hate people that steal car parts!!!!

Last night I went to see Dizzee Rascal had a such a good night to be ruined by some idiots....I got back to my car to find that the passenger and drivers side rear arches have been pulled off and stolen!! (I have only had my MCS 3 weeks)

I have ordered some new ones today direct from Mini luckily they are not to expensive £28 each, but does anyone know how easy they are to fit because Mini want to charge me £70 to fit and would rather not pay that.

Any advice would be good.

Cheers

I think the clips are still there sticking out of the body work, there are some white plastic bits, sorry for being vague, just was dark last night and haven't had a chance to properly look today.

Hi Bunsen, that`s pants when scummy people do that! people who cannot afford wheel arch trims, should stick to riding scooters, and roll up their jeans in to their socks, if you know what I mean! They are really easy to fit, just line up the new trims to the studs, and the round disc`s, flush to the body work, and then push on the arch anti-clockwise. real easy, certainly do not need to pay out 70 squid!!
Just take your time, it`s a great learning curve. The trims come with a bag of fittings, but as you wont need them, they are great to have as spare.

If you dont feel confident doing them, get somebody like your dad to do them, I always find dad`s a great at certain things like this If not; all is required a mate, or even a local garage bung them 5 quid, they will do it!

But to be honest, best to do it yourself, it`s as easy as pie, once you have done it once!

Enjoy that MINI and dont let some plonker ruine your MINI experience!!

Cheers sunday-night-rider....I got my new arches and have fitted them they went on nice and easy, I'm just happy I didn't have them colour coded other wise that would have been even more annoying.

Also it will take more than that to ruin my Mini experience I'm loving driving the car!
