Offline | Washington D.C. Region SCCA Novice Driving/Autocross School Please do not move this thread, it applies to anyone who wishes to drive their car at the limit, which teaches safety, not just autocross technique (I'll crosspost in the "Racing MINIs" section for obvious reasons). If this is moved, only people who already autocross will see it, and that's not the point. Thanks. That said, here's the announcement: WDCR SCCA Novice Autocross School There will be another novice autocross school at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick on November 9th 2002. The school will cover every aspect of autocrossing that is most important to Novices including, but not limited to Registration, Safety, Worker Positions, Technical Inspection, Walking the Course, Car Setup, Car Classing and Driving. The school will run from 9am to 4pm with a lunch break in the middle. You need to be READY TO GO at 9am. It will take place rain or shine so please be prepared if bad weather is being forecast. The instructors for this event will be Brian Garfield, Lee Piccione, and Brian Burdette. The maximum number of participants is limited to 15 in order for the individuals to get the most attention and get questions answered. The cost of the school will be $85 per person and lunch will be included. To register, please make a check out to Brian Garfield and send it to: 307 Longbow Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771. In the memo, please indicate “WDCR Novice School”. Please do not make it out to SCCA. ALSO, please indicate an email address and phone number in order to get a hold of everyone. The first 15 checks received will fill the school, after that, you’ll be put on a waiting list. Cancellations will be allowed with a full refund up to November 5th. Because of the season, this will likely be the last school until next year. Any questions should be deferred to Brian Garfield at garfield@mini2.com Thank you. - 2005 G Stock '05 MINI or it's back to a Miata in C Stock - 2004 G Stock 2nd place Pro Solo, 9th Place Solo II - 2003 STX 5th place Pro Solo, 6th Place Solo II - 2002 H Stock Pro Solo National Champion |
