Scotland Inside temp??

Random question at this time of year i know..but here goes!

Having just got my cooper s i've noticed that its always cold inside the car compared to my Cooper that i had through last winter!

I was thinking that it maybe had something to do with the sunroof?

Is this the case and is there anything that can be done?..I dont like being cold!!

Cheers

Martin

sunroof should actually keep it warmer if you park outside. is it a lighter colour body colour?

Use more revs when you're driving it! Means the engine will warm faster therefore you warm up faster = WIN.

I would say you are probably right, glass is not a good insulator when dealing with a single pane as per the sunroof - and that's a big area of glass too.

My Cooper (Astro Black) used to be warmer on entry than my S (BRG/Blk) -------- and I now have full leather, very chilly indeed..

Do you have heated seats?
That's the secret, within a few minutes my rear end is nice and warm and if the day is fairly clear it's a case of heated seats "on" sunroof "open" at all times........I like the sunroof better in winter than summer actually, it's lovely to have it open with the crisp cold air blowing in..

Canada
I have the sunroof and live in central Canada where it routinely gets to -20C for the majority of the winter and haven't found it any more cold then other cars I've driven. Seems to warm up a bit faster if anything. But I do have heated seats which is a must if u have leather imo
