Angry Same problem - clutch slipping at 30000miles

Hi Guys,

I am having similar problems with my MINI Cooper D (57 registration). BMW told me that the clutch is worn out and it's not covered by the 3 years warranty. I mainly drive on the motorway to go to work every day (no sitting in traffic jam).

I then contacted BMW customer service and they are brushing the problem under the carpet as they classify it as wear and tear. I complained in another email to them that the quality of the clutch is the issue, but they said that there is no proof about that, and that they have no problems with their clutch!!

I have contacted watchdog, and topgear but no reply for now.

Jeff
